Hi Gary,
For ASP.NET application, the 64 bit support depend on the .net framework
version.
.NET 1.1/ASP.NET 1.1 only support 32 bit application. Therefore, if you
deploy an ASP.NET 1.1 application to a 64 bit server(with IIS6), you have
to configure the IIS6 to run as 32 bit compatible mode.
For .NET 2.0/ASP.NET 2.0, it support both 32 bit and 64 bit applications,
also, according to the following statement, you can deploy your developed
ASP.NET 2.0 application onto 64 bit server and configure the IIS to run it
as either 32 bit or 64 bit:

For configuration in IIS6 to switch between 32 and 64 bit, you can refer to
the following article:
#How to switch between the 32-bit versions of ASP.NET 1.1 and the 64-bit
version of ASP.NET 2.0 on a 64-bit version of Windows

Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Steven Cheng
