Accessing Symbolic Links on Unix File Shares

Hey Ya'll,

I basically have a bunch of unix servers with a dataset scrambled
through about 10 of them. On unix, I maintain a symbolic link file
tree so that for each server it appears to have access to all the
files through auto mounting and so forth. I want to be able to
access this same file tree from my asp.net web app and NFS - however,
it's not working and I've tried everything. Microsoft Services for
Unix just doesn't cut it with symbolic links whether I use UNC file
mapping or I try to map the drive from the web application and access
the mapped share - the symbolic links just don't resolve.

The only thing I can think to do is to maintain a DFS file tree on the
windows server all the time so that I can have access to the files
from my asp.net web abb - I'm not even sure if that should work.

You don't need to have an answer, but suggestions of any kind are
welcome. Thanks!
