ANN: DevFi podcast #1 - Buy/Build/Fork - with an interview of DanBerger, forker of Ruby

C

Chris Shea

Peter Jones and I have started a podcast on software development and
becoming a better developer. While we're not focused on Ruby, our
first episode, about buying vs. building vs. forking, includes an
interview with Dan Berger, who forked the Ruby 1.8.x branch to create
the Sapphire programming language.

The full interview, and links to the audio of us talking about it can
be found here: http://devfi.com/articles/2008/05/05/devfi-podcast-1-buy-build-fork

We're serious about making this podcast worth your time in the weeks
and months ahead. We'd love to hear any comments or suggestions you
might have.

Thanks,
Chris Shea

I've added your feed :).

I really liked your inaugural episode, not too short to be content-free but
not too long to get repetitive.

Have you considered an ogg feed or some other free lossy feed? The encoding
time is fairly low, especially for shorter episodes, and while I can play
MP3s I prefer freer formats when possible.

Hats off you you,
Dan
