Hello
I'm happy to announce the first release of dime (Distributed
Monitoring Environment).
Dime is a real-time service monitor, which means it tests for
services on a set of hosts, and notifies the network administrator
when a failure occurs in one of the tests. These alert
notifications are displayed on-screen using of libxosd2. It uses
DRb for the communication between its modules, and also features
YAML-based configuration files.
You can get more information about dime on its homepage:
http://dime.rubyforge.org/
Best regards,
Andre
