[ANN] free firstobject XML Editor 1.5 for Windows

B

Ben Bryant

Release 1.5 adds features for non-Unicode character sets such as GB2312 and
Shift-JIS. Select from a list of encodings to set the XML Declaration, load
and save files in different encodings, and view the byte encoding of a
character in the document.

The firstobject XML Editor works on Windows 95 98 ME NT 2K XP with no Java
or MSXML dependency. It includes a tree view, functions for aligning and
indenting XML, print, print preview, e-mail sending, text encoding selection
and conversion, Unicode character functions, and C++ code generation to see
how to create or navigate your XML with CMarkup.

This utility does not require any external XML component, and is based
entirely on Win32 calls available since Windows 95. It is quick and snappy
even on large multi-megabyte files, the executable is small (424kb) and
utilizes only 1.5 to 3 times the memory size of the text of your XML
document.

Remember, CMarkup is the easy way to do XML in C++

Best wishes,
