The next meeting of the London Ruby Users Group is on Monday the 12th of
May.
Date: Monday, 12th May, 2008
Time: 6:30 for the talks, 8:00pm (ish) for the pub
Location: 1 Sekforde Street[1] for the talks, The Crown Tavern[2] for the
pub
Closest tube: Farringdon
Agenda:
1. "Settling New Caprica: Getting your pet project off the ground" by Tom
Armitage.
Tom is going to talk about the trials of getting his recently launched
rails-based forum site from that first idea all the way to launch and beyond
as well as covering the the tools he used in building it.
2. "Monkeyweaving: Live native monkey patching" by Tim Becker
Tim will be showing off a new meta-programming tool he's releasing.

*REGISTRATION*
As ever, it's important that if you are planning on coming you let our
hosts, Skills Matter, know about it by registering on their website [4].
It's better if you can register early so they have a chance to move the
venue if we need a bigger one.
