Laurent Sansonetti
Hi,
I am happy to announce the 0.2.0 release of Ruby/ZOOM.
Ruby/ZOOM provides a Ruby binding to the Z39.50 Object-Orientation Model
(ZOOM), an abstract object-oriented programming interface to a subset of
the services specified by the Z39.50 standard, also known as the
international standard ISO 23950.
You can get more information from the home page:
http://ruby-zoom.rubyforge.org
This release fixes a bug in the ZOOM::ResultSet#[] method and introduces
an experimental decoder for the MARC (MAchine-Readable Cataloging)
format.
Unfortunately the MARC decoder is not yet documented, but reading the
marc.rb file should be helpful.
Enjoy!
Laurent
