Hello fellow Rubyists,
I've released Rubymine, a place where rubyists can obtain great
knowledge within time of working together. There have already been an
article and a few announcements.
http://www.rubymine.org
Features:
* blog entries
* community book creation
* pages (like wiki)
* story/articles
* weblinks
* Forums
* private message support
* RSS feeds on frontpage for current news from various sources
* personal bookmarks
* and more..
Currently Drupal is installed, and I've been tweaking it here and there
to get any annoyances out of the system. I'm still working on a CMS,
which isn't done of course or it would replace Drupal instantly.
Home of the Ruby Windows QA team
--------------------------------------------------------------
I'm proud to announce the Ruby Windows QA team.
Who's in the team? A group of hackers(code hackers) wanting to help the community.
I've a team of people who are generous enough to donate thier time
to build Ruby extensions and provide support for Microsoft Windows. This will be
a tedious job to the QA team. I thank the people below for reponding when I first asked about getting a team created.
Developers
-------------------
Kaspar Schiess
Matt Mower
Alexander Kellett
David Ross (myself)
(*there have been a couple people who emailed me, I'll get back with them ASAP)
donations of services and hardware
------------------------------------------------------------
Aredridel
This specific task won't always be easy, there will be certain code to debug. So
it would be appreciated for Windows users to test out the software when they have time, and are
available to report.
Currently there are no binary releases, mostly because I'm working on getting each person setup with compilers.
For now.. good night. Happy hacking
