The first release of the Mogwai Swing DataBinding API is available for
download at http://mogwai.sourceforge.net. Mogwai DataBinding makes
binding between Beans / POJO's and visual Java Swing Components easy,
comfortable and reusable. It helps the developer with common tasks like
copying data between beans and Swing components, data conversion, and
state machine handling. Using the DataBinding API, user interfaces can
be easily bound to persistent java objects used with Hibernate, JDO or
other persistent APIs.
The API is highly modular and can be extended with user classes like
Convertors and Adaptors. The API is meant to be non invasive, which
means you can design your GUI's with your favourite design tool and do
the binding using the DataBinding module.
Feel free to visit the project Homepage at
http://mogwai.sourceforge.net. You can also download additional Java
tools for GUI design, ER Model Creation / Database design, Inversion of
Control , JSP Taglibs and other cool stuff.
