AnonCVS down means no stable-snapshot.tar.gz on ftp?

I know the anoncvs is down untill deb update, but does that mean there's
no snapshots on ftp either? They all seem to give me tiny (<1kb) files... ?

That same question was asked on ruby-core, and the answer was that you
have to wait until the update.
