We're due for an intranet redesign. Our old intranet is just a ton of static
HTML, and a bunch of ASP+index server pages used to list documents.
We've been trained on Sharepoint, but we really are not impressed with that
product and really don't want to go down that path for a number of reasons.
We have built our own Content Management system for our public sites, so we
may use a variation of that, but thought we'd explore some other options
too. Community Server seems to be nice (a friend was consulting a company
that was trying to get off of Sharepoint and was looking at the same
product, so that's what got me curious).
