asio library

Does anyone has experience with this library?
Is it going to become part of boost? Future standard?
I'm looking for a library that will give me a thin layer of
abstraction above TCP, UDP and SCTP sockets. I want to use a public
library in order to benefit from debugging and testing done on that,
but I want to keep the logic of threads/queues and so, at application
level (this is why I don't want to use ACE).

Regards,

Yuval.

It will be in the next version of Boost, for which release candidates
are likely to be available in the next month or so.

The Boost users mailing list would be a good place to ask about it.
