asp and caching

We are attempting to cache asp web pages in our isa server from the local
county property appraiser web site to speed up access, with a 60 minute TTL
(time to live).

This doesn't seem to be working - at least the pages aren't coming up any
faster. Is there anything in asp that could be preventing the pages from
being cached locally?

Thanks in advance,
Joe

The pages could be set to expire 1 second after they are sent. Of
course that is a web server setting. There are also options to make
your pages non cacheable. This is a very good thing for ASP as it is
supposed to be dynamic & thus caching is an enemy & not a friend.
