asp.net client application is not executing

Hi,
I have created an asp.net webservice in vc++. I want to use that web
service in a win32 console application. I have done everything as mentioned
in the MSDN library. But when I am starting the application there is a
dialog box coming with the message "The procedure entry point freeaddrinfo
could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll. But when I am
commenting the webservices codes then there is no problem. What I want to do
for that.
