I am not able to run the Asp.Net Configuration tool from inside of a VS 2005
website(I have VSTO 2005)
What happens is the page goes flying by me and returns to the VS 2005 design
page I was on.
I was however able to eye ball the URL of the application as it flew by me
to get the port number of the localhost.
I then was able to bring up the configuration tool outside of VS 2005 by
using the following url
*Note I have left off the http: so it will not show as a link - website is
the name of the application
http.//localhost:3932/asp.netwebadminfiles/default.aspx?applicationPhysicalPath=c:\inetpub\wwwroot\website\&applicationURL=/website
Since it is recognizing the tool on my machine but not from within vs 2005
is it some kind of configuration that I am missing? (I have also
reinstalled vs 2005 with no positive results)
I do not have express 2005 I am using sql server 2005 (if this is a
consideration).
Any ideas would be helpful.
thanks
