Hello all.
I have an ASP .NET question.
By default ASP .NET worker process is granted the right “access this
computer from the networkâ€. I am hardening an IIS server and want to remove
this right. I have reviewed the default MS privs for the worker process
account, but need some information on what the affect would be if I removed
this right from the account. Since I am in a production environment, I am
hestitant to turn this off without understanding the effect. I believe the
only thing this right is grant access to a computer resource on the network,
but since this is not specifically used as an interactive account. I believe
the ASP .NET right inherits is rights from Everyone or User groups. What is
the effect of turning it off? Anyone??
