Attach HTML email without ASP formatting

Is it possible to send an HTML email through CDONTS without formatting it
into one big long string?

You can read contents from a file and set that as the html body or you can
concatenate a bunch of little strings. One way or another, if you want
html, you have to write that into the body of the mail object, just like if
you want a sentence, you have to write that.

BTW, unless you're on an NT 4 Server, you should switch from CDONTS to CDO.
