What I tried to do is non-sensical, but it shouldn't cause irb to go
down in flames. Note that the same code works run when run from a file
using the 'real' ruby interpretter, not irb.
C:\Documents and Settings\gavin.kistner>irb
irb(main):001:0> module M; end
=> nil
irb(main):002:0> f = Array.new
=> []
irb(main):003:0> M.extend( f )
c:/ruby/lib/ruby/1.8/irb/input-method.rb:97: [BUG] Segmentation fault
ruby 1.8.2 (2004-12-25) [i386-mswin32]
