Build/Compile in .net 2.0

Hi All,

I am new to .net 2.0 and learning it now. I have couple of question
in understanding how .net works. Can anyone help me?

1) are the terms build and compile same?

2) do we need to build the code everytime we make a change to the
code?
Suppose, I have a .aspx page using the variable "iTerms". It
works fine.
Later, If I change the name of the variable to "iTerminations",
do I need to build the page
again?

3) If a DLL is referenced in the web site, if DLL is changed, do we
need to build the DLL and then build the website again? If so, how
do we build the dll?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
