1) I see the web site for C/C++ users journal (www.cuj.com) and it seems
to advertise a paper copy 'on the newsstand'. Does anyone know how to
subscribe to the paper copy; I cannot find any instructions on the page
for this.

2) Can anyone recommend a similar (paper-printed) magazine covering C++
techniques/dark corners/ applications ?

CUJ varies in it greatness, sometimes its possitively naff.

There is not really anything else I know of.

OT, but CUJ ceased the paper publication early this year, and is web
only. There was some discussion here back in January about it.
