C++ on Solaris help!!!!!!

I'm a Borland C++ user, very comfortable with borland. I have done C on Unix in
the distant past, on Silicon Graphics systems, using the text editor to edit
'C' files and then using Makefile to rebuild the software. I am anticipating a
need to do C++ on Solaris and wonder if anyone can direct me to a good on line
tutorial to help me prepare. Is using solaris very similar to using say,
Silicon Graphics? I need a tutorial because time is short.

Appreciate all the help I can get!

Read the docs that came with Sun Studio, or Forte, or whichever version
you have.
