Hello All:

I'm new to C programming. Any suggestions about learning C are
appreciated. I also need a compiler. Can you please tell me where can I
find one. Also, let me tell you something about my programming
experience. I have a very brief exposure to programming. Till now, I
just have used SAS Programming.
Thank you.

Here's a good place to start:
http://www.c-faq.com/

Section 18 "Tools and Resources" will probably be
of particular interest to you.

But be sure to eventually read the whole FAQ, it
is quite useful.

www.mixsoftware.com. They have a decent compiler for $20 dollars with a
manual that alone is worth the price. It has a great tutorial, and a
reference section. Also, read the C FAQ.

1. A good C programming language book.
2. C FAQs (link given above)
3. www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html (compiler)
