It is our target that the reviewing process and the result
notification for each submitted manuscript can be completed within one
month from its submission. The reviewing process is to ensure the
quality of the accepted papers in the WCE congress. The conferences
have enjoyed high reputation among many research colleagues ( for
example, see the http://cs.conference-ranking.net/ or http://www.conference-ranking.com/
or http://www.conference-ranking.org/cs.html ).

A lot of people say these IAENG guys are fakes, that they accept even
machine-generated "papers" if the check clears. Can anyone point me to strong
evidence about that?

It's all part of the same multiconference series:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4449651.stm
http://pdos.csail.mit.edu/scigen/

They've started to cover their trails better now, so they
aren't linkable to Nagib Callaos any more, but they aren't
linkable to anything apart from themselves any more.

Except that mysterious new site cs.conference-ranking.net,
which didn't exist at the time of last year's spam run,
and which does not identify itself, and therefore is as
trustworthy as iaeng.com itself as a source for information
about IAENG. Maybe someone can give them a call and check
who they claim to be when answering this entirely believable
telephone number, listed in their domain registration:
+1.2141234444

"List of Undesirable Conferences Sponsored by IAENG"
http://www.cs-conference-ranking.org/iaengsponsoredconferences.html

Though I would still looking forward to see a bit more than hearsay
linking Nagib Callaos with IAENG.

I also find this http://sci4um.com/about2670-asc.html here amusing: A
otherwise uninteresting forum site plastered too heavily with ads. The
thread in question is titled "Scientists Admit to Misconduct" and at
the bottom the forum software lists a thread

[CFP] Call for Sessions Proposals: Th... (e-mail address removed)

under the heading of "Similar Topics". Is that artificial intelligence
already :)?

IAENG can be linked to a Hong Kong company which is a an ISP and
whatnot, called "Newsbook Limited" http://www.newsbook.net/ .
"Newsbook Limited" collects the fees for the multi-conferences,
publishes this IAENG Engineering Newsletter and just happens to have
the same business address as the IAENG headquarter address.
Except that mysterious new site cs.conference-ranking.net,

That site happens to use a Chinese charset encoding:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=big5" />

Draw you own conclusion who owns that site ...

Well sniffed, Hunter!
