$42M in a private equity financing to support the market launch of
our FDA approved Calypso® 4D Localization System and is seeking
additional talent to further our new product development efforts.

Senior Software Engineer-Systems & Algorithms
Calypso® Medical is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer-Systems &
Algorithms to design, develop, test, and document assigned software
system components for a real-time, multi-threaded, multi-process,
distributed software application; develop software associated with
localization system algorithms as specified; participate in the
technical definition, refinement and testing to includes porting
algorithms from MATLAB to C++ or C#; assess and report performance
characteristics of algorithms and drive tradeoffs in computational
approaches; participate in and/or lead architectural review
discussions and implement solutions according to agreed upon
conventions; actively assist in resolving integration issues; and
assess and recommend performance enhancements within assigned
components as needed.
Minimum requirements include 7+ years experience developing
distributed multi-threaded, multi-process, and multi-tiered
applications; significant experience with the entire product life-
cycle as well as with developing prototype applications; demonstrable
experience in scientific programming with preferred MatLab
familiarity; the ability to translate MatLab algorithms into
efficient C++ and/or C#; a strong mathematical aptitude including
computational analysis, linear algebra, numerical analysis, and
statistical problem set analysis; demonstrable proficiency with
Window development platforms (multiple operating systems experience
preferred); .NET experience is highly preferred; significant
experience in developing applications with two of the following three
languages: (C#, C++, and/or Java); B.S. in C.S., physics or
engineering discipline.
