Can I install Vs7 on a windows xp home edition PC?

Here's what I seem to remember when a buddy of mine did this.

Yes, it is possible to install VS.NET on XP Home, but you will not be able
to create ASP.NET applications (and the like) because IIS is not there.

(You may want to this at the VS.NET product site, under installation
requirements.)

Yes you can.
See the system requirements on
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/productinfo/sysreqs/default.aspx

The restriction is as mentioned below:
"Limited functionality. Visual Studio .NET 2003 does not support creating
ASP.NET Web applications or ASP.NET XML Web services when using Windows XP
Home Edition."
