Last post to alt.html was at 10.58 am Sydney time. It is now nearly 10
hrs later. It is very windy, true, but surely the messages do not come
by carrier pigeons these days (who can be blown off course or who are
slowed by a headwind). I will press the send button on the cusp of a
head wind .. hang on... here we go...

Probably your news service not getting the "mail" properly.
