CDO 1.21 Library in ASP.net web Application

Sal

I have used CDO 1.21 in the past in ASP and VB.NET windows applications to
create contact and message items in Exchange for different profiles and
users.
I seem to have problems in Logging to MAPI.Session when I run the same code
from my ASP.NET page.
Does anyone have a sample code that works on ASP.NET web pages.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

MAPI is not suitable for asp or aspx applications. The reason is that MAPI
requires a user to login at the desktop...
In 1998 this was written. But remember, this is -non proven- technology.
Nobody uses it.

You can have CDO to login as a POP3 user.
