cdonts obligated fields in a form

Dear all,

I've implented a script that allows me to email a form using cdonts. How do
I make a field an obligated field to enter data - for exemple a phone number
if the phone number is the most important piece of data ?

I'd appreciate any help

I guess you want to validate and make the phone number field
"mandatory" before the email script is run at all.
