Checking for ASP Session IDs

Is there a way to query a webserver to see how many, and which, ASP Session
ID numbers are still current? (ie: not expired).

I'm working on a way to track active Website visitors & wish to compare a
Log of Session ID's against those that the Server would recognise as still
active.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the sessions exist, they're considered active, no?

Yes thats very true but I'm looking to get a 'list' of Session ID's that are
active. So far I've only been able to read Session info from within that
active Session.

Is there a way to 'see' these active sessions on the server? Maybe a log
etc..?

AFAIK, no. Can someone confirm?

Performance monitor can track how many asp sessions are active but you
cannot get the session ids or see "into" any of the sessions.
