I have a db with a general stock of a few car dealers
On www.autos-motos.net one can consult the stock of all the car dealers
together, on the other hand a car dealer can show only his part of the stock
on his site. Herefore i use the VAT nr in a session("ex") variable.

But when i the surfer switch from one side to another without closing the
browser, sometimes the stock of dealer A appears on the website of dealer C
or F

Is there a way to reset a session variable when the surfer leaves a domain ?

Does each dealer have their own site or just an area in a single site (all
in same virtual directory)?
How does a user move from one "site" to another?
Clear or reset the variable when a dealer "site" is selected.

Hi Mark,

all the html / asp of www.autos-motos.net are in the root of a folder on the
server, each dealer have his own folder in this folder. But they have all a
..com or .be domain which point to the dealers folder.

example : general www.autos-motos.net / dealers www.adq.be (see stock),
www.debreyne.com (see stock).

If one open www.adq.be stock, then open in the same browser
www.autodeknudt.com (stock) one see the (green colored frame) stock of
adq.be . I already clear the variable or set it to the VATnr of autodeknudt
when opening the site but without succes. Closing the browser solves the
problem.

So if the user enters one of the dealer site urls (such as www.adq.be) are
they redirected to a default page in a subdirectory associated with that
dealer? If so have that default page change the session variable there. If
not, explain exactly what pages and in what sequence a user is taken to if
they enter www.adq.be.
