Hi,
I'm currently experiencing intermittent errors when trying to copy an
ASP.NET project (VS.NET2k3 + all latest SPs & patches) from my development
workstation (WinXP Pro + all latest SPs & patches) to a test server (Win2k3S
+ all latest SPs & patches).
An example of the error is:
Unable to add
'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\intranet\admin\images\line_point_block.gif' to the
project. An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.
Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster
for the server's site. Webmasters - please see the server's system log for
more details.
If I try the copy again, it will almost certainly fail on a different file.
There seems to be no logic or consistency as to the type of file - it could
be anything: aspx, htm, css, gif, jpg, txt etc.
There doesn't seem to be a permissions problem because I can actually
publish some of the files - just not all of them. If I copy all of the
required files to the test server manually, the site itself works correctly.
Has anyone else experienced anything like ths? If so, is there a workaround
or a fix?
Any assistance gratefully received.
