Creating dialog box in javascript

hi all,

I am really new to javascript so need help on something which might
sound very basic. I was trying to replicate a dialog box as in outlook
to select receipients on my website( unfortunately, i couldnt attach
the scrrenshot for that). I was wondering if this this possible to do
in javascript and if yes, then how.

Any help on this is really appreciated.
