databound control dependibility

Hello,

I have got a little problem on my hands. I have a page with two
databound controls. The first one is a formview which get it's id from
the querystring. In the data it retrieves there is a FK to another
table, which should work as input for the second control. How do I
retrieve that value so I can load it as a selectparameter before both
controls are bound?
