DBD::ODBC & Maximizer Enterprise

I am accessing Maximizer Enterprise using DBD ODBC

It works with my old Mazimizer address books but not my new ones

If instead of using DBD ODBC I use Win32 ODBC I can connect to any
Maximizer database and update records but not view the data as
Maximizer then does not support FetchRow

Have any of you found a way round these issues?
