I have a ASP.NET website running on a shared server at a webhoster. They,
understandably, will not run executables that I supply.
I have a new app that I want to implement but my new app runs Crystal
Reports. After doing some research, it appears that the only way to
implement an asp.net app using crystal reports is via a setup project
because Crystal_regwiz2003.msm needs to have my license number pasted into
it and the setup msi apparently puts this into the server's registery?
Is there any way to xcopy deploy and get Crystal to run on a remote server
without using the windows installer? or, in other words, not executing an
exe?
