A typical school chemistry set will work. Try get some Potassium
Permanganate too, it works as a catalyst to crystalize the cocaine into
crack.

want to use Forth or Modula or e.
If I want to develop for, let us say, a mainframe, I would say so

Why are we supposed to assume that you are not developing for a
mainframe? I take it from your reply that you're on a PC, but how were
we supposed to know that? There are *lots* of different kinds of
computers in the world.
