Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Sr Software developer for the Champaign,
IL based operations. This position will be responsible for
conceptualization, requirements gather, architecture, design,
development and testing of software for a high assurance computer
system. Tasks include requirements analysis, software design and
architecture, software integration, testing, debug, maintenance and
interfacing with customers. Ability to analyze existing designs and
software architecture and to develop new designs to facilitate the
implementation of high assurance enterprise computer systems
technologies. Requires ability to manage self effectively to meet
schedule commitments and mentor other software developers though out
the entire software development lifecycle. Requires good oral/written
communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team
environment. Specific Knowledge Education and Experience Bachelor’s
degree in software engineering, a related technical field or the
equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum of 5 years
of relevant experience is required. Additional Info Applicant must
have extensive UNIX application development experience primarily in
LINUX. Computer security background (Government requirements) is
desirable.
Experience is the following is required, C, C++, UNIX/LINUX. The
following skills are desirable: JAVA, PHP, Xserver, Xclient, Apache,
Network protocols, Multi Level Security and Network Security. Strong
software development experience is required. Active CISSP
certification is highly desirable. Some travel may be required to meet
business needs.
