Drag Drop

Hi,

I am having problems finding out how to drag and drop text from one
cell to another in a table in a JSP page.

Can someone tell me how I can drag and drop text from one cell to
another???

Is there a JavaScript library available for this??

This has nothing to do with JSP, it is clientside.
So whatever the extention [.htm .html. .asp .php .jsp]
the answer is the same.

With javascript it is possible, through DOM, but not easy.

However, since Googling I got 85.000 his, you better read them first.

I think, perhaps you have a wrong idea about javascript.
It has nothing to do with Java.

I know this has nothing to do with Java, but I do know from my searches
that there are some libraries written by people that provides the drag
and drop function.

I came across one or two items where you had to pay for the css and
javascript file.

Where, what? And did you pay? I wouldn't mind being paid.

I did state that it was a jsp page, but I believe JavaScript within the
jsp page can be used to provide the function for the drag and dropping
of text from one cell to another cell of a table.

Of course this is based on the research I have done on the web to find
a solution and certainly JavaScript has been mentioned a few times
along with DHTML and DOM.

The website that you had to pay provided fancy or technical solutions.
Don't have that link anymore and I'm not paying for it.
