Dreamweaver new document

Hello,

I've got a question about Dreamweaver and making new documents.

I have my website but I'd like to save a document as a template, but not as
a template the way Dreamweaver interprets templates. I just want to put this
document (save it as .html) and put it in the "New document"-window.

So if I click File -> New, that I can chose this document from the list.

I don't want a Dreamweaver-template with editable regions.

Why not just save it and PageTemplate.html. Then every time you want to
use it, just "open" it, and use "save as"

Yeah I know but the problem is ... You know, concentration :)

Mostly when I did this before, I forgot to do "save as" by which it made no
difference if I made a template or just used another page.

I knew this answer would come, but I really don't want to do this. But
thanks for the reply.

Yearn for concentration, I'd say.

Then make multiple identical 'template' files: template1.html,
template2.html, etc.

Thanks. I've posted my message in macromedia.dreamweaver.
However yesterday when I tried to find dreamweaver group, I found nothing
.... Very odd. But now I typed macromedia and I found some.

Does alt.macromedia.dreamweaver exist? Cause I can't see that one.

Thanks for the replies everybody.

Mark template.html as "Read Only" in your OS.
