Drop table to loginview

I am learning ASP.NET.
I am using vs 2005 professional version.
I try to drop a table into the loginview control.
Most of time the table just show up in top left of the page, I have to edit
the code in source view.
Are there any trick or step to follow?

Hi

In design view, make sure the LoginView is highlighted and the cursor
is inside the LoginView template. Then double-click the table icon in
the toolbox and it should place a table inside the template of the
LoginView.
