It is possible for me to checkout, commit and synchronize with the CVS
server however TAGGING seems to be a problem. I cannot seem to tag any
files exept for the .classpath and the .project files.
The following error results when I try to tag a project:
----------------------------------------------------
Task Finished with Error
Reason:
I/O has been interrupted.
The most likely cause of the interrupt is either an intermittent
network failure or a communications timeout.
The CVS communications timeout can be adjusted in the Team/CVS
preferences.
Another possible cause is the improper configuration of the "ext"
connection method.
The "ext" connection method can be configured on the Team/CVS/Ext
Connection Method preference page.
----------------------------------------------------
It seems that when tagging, the folder structure [includign subfolders]
can be tagged. When the error results, an empty folder structure is
created but the folders are empty when they should be filled with files
that are tagged aswell!
I have checked the possibility of a communications timeout and I have
changed the timeout timer to two minutes and same thing happens. I
don't think I need to alter Ext Connection preferences because I'm
not using an external cvs program.
Currently Eclipse is connecting to the CVS server using pserver.
Your input in solving this tagging problem is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
