Eclipse doesn't display the code question

Hi,

I can't find an Eclipse google group, so I post my question here and
hope someone knows how to solve the problem.

I have checked a project from a CVS using Eclipse. I can see that the
source file names on the left most window, but when I double clicked
on the source filenames, the source code didn't appear in the middle
window. What did I do wrong? Previously, I had used Eclipse to view
source file, and now it just didn't show the code.

Thanks for the help in advance.

CVS does not require a lock for editing.  Individual projects might, but
presumably if that were so someone would have told the OP.

Thanks Sabine and Lew's help. Here can I ask you more?
You might need to checkout the particular source file first.

I do saw the yellow cylinder symbol is aside the filename in the left
most window of the Eclipse, that means the file is connected with CVS.
Do you mean that I can try to checkout one source file first, and then
checkout the whole project? I will try.
Or put a lock on it for editing.
Actually, I just want to checkout the project to my local machine and
practice on it, and I don't want to checkback to CVS because I am not
so familiar with the project as well as the CVS, so I may not do that
to prevent others editing.

Can you tell me what is OP? Is it possible that the project is locked
by someone that's why I can't view the source code? I am new to CVS,
and previously I only checked out the project to my local machine, and
never practice more on other functions of CVS, but I will learn now.

Thanks again for the help.
