Edit registry using Visual C

O

ozvaldo

I am very new to this, hopefully someone can help.

I am trying to edit some registry keys but cant due to user policy. Can
someone give example how to acomplish editing key's in the registry
while interactlvly logged in as the limited user.

Also, this should be done by a exe or some encripted text as to not
share the admin password.

I was advised to use Visual C to ackomplish this task however i have
never learned any C, can someone provide an example.

Thanks in advance,

Allow me to be the first to say this - and I say it from the deepness of my
heart, with all the kindness and love one has come to associate with the
helpful posts you get in this newsgroup:

Not portable. Can't discuss it here. Blah, blah, blah.

Thanks for the heads up however, i will wait patiently. If no help is
offered, i'll buy a book.

Your question is system-specific. There's no way to do what you're
asking for in standard C, which is what we discuss here. It may well
be possible to do it using some sytem-specific extension provided by
your implementation, but we can't help you with that.

You'll probably have better luck in comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.win32.

(BTW, Kenny McCormack is one of our resident trolls; he's not trying
to be helpful.)
