Embedding PDF in iframe in firefox

I am tring to embed a PDF file in iframe through fdf.The target iframe
I want is provided in the FDF file.Now the PDF file works fine in IE ,
but with Firefox the PDF opens in a different window.Is there any
way/property in JavaScript which I can write/set in the page so that to
avoid this irrational behaviour of Firefox.
