enable execute permission in web.config

How can I enable execute permissions for a folder on my website using the
web.config file ?

Hi Michael,

As for the "execution permisions" you mentioned, do you mean the "execution
permission" of IIS virtual directory?

If this is the case, what's the IIS version of the server machine. For
those that has IIS 5 or IIS 6, execution permission is only configurable at
IIS side(through UI or api ) to change the execution permission in IIS
metabase.

In IIS7 , since both IIS virtual dir and ASP.NET configuration are put in
xml based config file, you can use web.config to control such execute
permission(called accessPolicy in IIS7 configuration schema). Here are some
