enableEventValidation set false

Hi,
I want to know what happen on my working application if I add
<pages enableEventValidation="false"> in my web config file.

I want to add this Because I got invalid postback error sometimes .

please suggest me

I did your recommandation

do you have any suggestion for me that not to decrease security? or is
there another solution for setting enableEventValidation =false.

Because I don't want to do that .

and I am getting problem of invalidpostback .
