error_message in cyrus imap server not working

Hello All,

I tried to build imap_err.h and imap_err.c from imap_err.et but seems
like IMAP Server always returns "Unknown code" to the email client?.

Looks like the code being passed to error_message is messed up. Do you
have any idea as to how to fix it?. Thanks.

OK, but what are "imap_err.h", "imap_err.c", "imap_err.et", and "IMAP
Server"? None of these things is part of the standard C language or
library, so they are not discussed here.

You are asking questions about some non-standard code that is perhaps
provided with your particular compiler as an extension, or a third
party library, both of which are off-topic here. Post in a support
group for your particular compiler/OS combination, or the source of
the library.
