eruby cgi xml

Hello, i have an eruby cgi script producing xhtml.
Unfortunately it prints the shebang line and after changing to xhtml the
contents of this line is visible. I there an undocumented option in
eruby to handle this ...

I don't think you have to, as in 'I have to die'. What webserver are you
using ?

I set up my Apache2 server so that it runs eruby on all files ending in
*.rhtml, which does avoid the shebang line alltogether.
