Form Authentication (.Net / Java)

Hi All,
I have a login page and a data page.
For data page authentication is required.
For few users authentication is being done by my server (.Net Server ) where
form authentication is being used.
And for other few users other server (Java Server) is setting the form
authentication cookies.

Will this work?

Simply setting the cookies with any value the authentication for data page
will work or I have to do something else?
