free chart lib for Python?

A long time ago, I programmed a rmchart interface, however rmchart is
windows only, and www.rmchart.com disappeared now

The best place to look is PyPI, there are several possible candidates
there:

You could try matplotlib: http://matplotlib.sourceforge.net. That can do
all kinds of wizzo plotty/charty stuff.

It's a very nice module with impressive graphing/charting/plotting

I'm about to announce WHIFF/amChart after some more testing.

WHIFF/amCharts generates highly sophisticated interactive
charts using Adobe/Flash plug-in applets.
